British GT - Exclusive testing @ Oulton park 2015

Beechdean Aston Martin GT looking quick @ Oulton Park in testing.

 Oulton Park has recently been host to exclusive testing from some of the British GT teams. The cars was being put through their paces on a slightly damp track with some quick times put in by those in attendance. Plenty of Aston Martin's was on track with two BMW Z4's . Well its been a very busy weekend. Pauls Imaging has attended the North West Stages 2015 rally event held in Blackpool, Lancashire, United Kingdom. The event saw 2 times event winner Paul Bird Driving the Ford Focus WRC and many other favourites like Tony Bardy in the Nissan Pulsar GTiR, John Stone in the WRC Skoda Fabia and Kevin Proctor in the once owned Richard Burns Subaru Imprezza.

 After a long two day event Paul Bird completed the stages in 1st overall position bringing his tally to 3 times winner of the event. Enjoy the photographs.

 

GT CUP - Jim Geddie seen putting in Impressive lap times at Oulton Park

 Jim Geddie and the United Autosport  McLaren MP4-12C GT3 was seen to be putting in some very good practice times at Oulton Park, Cheshire last week.

 Oulton Park is to host the final round of the GT CUP on 25th October 2014 which is looking to be an exciting conclusion to a action packed season.

 Jim Geddie is currently leading the overall championship with a total of 440 points with David Walley in the Porsche 997 cup(GTB)  is following in second with 412 points.

Chris Stockton - Seen Testing at Oulton Park

 Chris Stockton and the Power Maxed Racing Chevrolet Cruze prepared by BTC Racing was seen putting in some impressive times during testing at Oulton Park on the International Circuit.

The car looked well balanced through Knickerbrook and Druids corner at speed. With the circuit being slightly moist due to little microclimates that occur due to the time of the year under the trees on the approach to Druids Corner the car held the road well with no apparent understeer visible.

 Hopefully the extra testing will help in preparation for the last round of the BTCC at Brands Hatch which is looking to be an excellent end to an action packed season.
